His first solo record after the demise of the Beatles and what an way to introduce his solo career. A No 1 all over the World, it was in fact the biggest selling single in the UK in that year, and was taken from Harrison's massive triple-album project 'All Things Must Pass' which also broke sales records for an album in the same year.

Interestingly for Pop Historians, the melody line is virtually the same as an earlier hit by the Chiffons,  'Hes So Fine' a fact which George later acknowledged.
