Terms & Conditions

Governing Law

We submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts, in accordance with the laws of England.

Ordering

Our catalogue is generally updated on a regular basis. New items are added and out-of-stock items are deleted. The 'search' facility will show all items currently available on the last update but if an item has limited stock and has since run out we will notify you that your order was unsuccessful and offer to re-order the item for you or suggest alternatives.

Pricing

The price of each item is displayed in the shopping cart and against each of the 'search' results. The price is exclusive of Shipping Charges ie Post and Packing. Once the item is placed in your shopping cart the Shipping Charges will be viewable and if extra items are added the cart will refresh these prices.

Our Shipping Charges can be found in our Shipping & Returns Page, along with usual Postage Times. 

In the event of any goods being offered for sale at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to withdraw the items from sale, at any point prior to shipping. We will contact you if such a situation arises. We will also contact you should additional postages charges apply for any order.

Faulty Items

All our vinyl records are checked for condition before being offered for sale and our minimum threshold for condition is VG+ unless otherwise stated in the description, many of our records will be of a higher condition. We never describe a Used or Pre-Loved record as Mint because in our opinion, this grading should only be used for records which are known to be New or Unplayed. Our highest grading is therefore NM or 'Near Mint'.

We use the Record Collector Guide to grade our records as this is, we believe, the foremost authority and the most generally accepted reference work on the subject in the UK.   

All our records are checked again before dispatch and then packed with suitable robust packaging so there are usually no problems. However if the goods supplied to you are 'not suitable for the use they were intended for' (eg the record skips or plays with excessive interference) we will accept returns for reimbursement.

This complies with the UK Sale of Goods Act. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Normal wear and tear, damage due to misuse, negligence or alteration to the item are not covered under the warranty.

Acknowledgement of Order

  • We will acknowledge all orders by email, unless your email address has been entered incorrectly which may ultimately lead to a delay in dispatching your order.
  • You must ensure that you type your e-mail address correctly, as the order confirmation e-mail is sent automatically and won't get to you if you make a spelling mistake.

Order Acceptance

Any email, on-screen receipt or other acknowledgement of your order is merely to report that your request has been received and does not in any way denote acceptance of your order, regardless of any wording on the email or the receipt

 TUNES LIMITED reserves the right, at any time prior to acceptance, to refuse any order or any part of an order, or to require further or better information to enable it to evaluate and/or process the order.

All goods remain the property of  TUNES LIMITED until paid for in full.

Complaints

We deal with any complaints that you may have fairly, effectively and quickly, within 5 working days. We endeavour to resolve complaints within a further 7 days .Any complaints will be dealt with in the strictest confidence. If you make any complaints we ask that you informn us as to how our procedures can be improved, and give as much detail as you can, in order that we can help you to resolve any problems.

Order Cancellation

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling)  Regulations requires traders, unless the Law permits otherwise, to give the consumer the right to cancel their order within 7 working days without giving a reason. In the case of goods received the 7 days must start from the day after the day the customer receives the goods. TUNES LIMITED will comply with the above regulations.

You must ensure that you take reasonable care of the goods and return them to us in the condition that they were sent to you.

If you decide to cancel your order you should immediately contact us by phone 44-(0)1747-811000 or email bill @ rebornrecords.co.uk. If we receive your cancellation before goods are dispatched we will refund your money within 30 days. In the event that the goods have already been dispatched or have been received by you, and we receive notice of cancellation we will refund your original purchasing costs but not the costs of you incur in returning the cancelled goods to us.

Your Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy.We will only use the information we collect from you lawfully(in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) We collect information from you for two reasons only : To process your order and to give you the best possible service.

We will not email you in the future unless you have given us your express approval or you have joined our mailing list. We will not pass your email address to anyone else.

The type of information we will collect from you is : Your name and address, your Email address and your Phone No. (if permitted by you)

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your
explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in
accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code. Our internal security policy means that your personal data is kept in a purpose-built database off-line, and is only accessible to TUNES LIMITED, who are responsible for all security on this site and also for maintaining accurate data.

 We reserve the right not to deal with anyone, should we suspect that the information provided to us is incorrect. However, we will advise our reasons for declining orders where possible, although we will not be held to long and unreasonable correspondence on these and similar matters.
