Starting out as a four-piece beat group, they epitomised the sound of the Merseybeat scene between '63 and '66. By then, the scene had waned and so two founder members, Tony Crane and Billy Kinsley, disbanded the original foursome and became a duo. They recorded several hits in their new identity, this being the first in '66, reaching No 4 in the UK.
