An unusual release. Tom was a one-time DJ who had a chequered past admitting to involvement in the payola scandal of the late 50's. He is reputed to have been friendly with Marilyn Monroe. This three-track provided Motown's subsidiary Mowest with an unexpected US Chart Entry in 1971. It went all the way to No 8 in the States, earning a Gold Record. Its basically a plea for tolerance with the voices of King and the Kennedys interspersed with interviews with children over a musical collage.
