Peggy recorded this hit at the tender age of just 14. She stood just 4'10" (1.47m) tall and her birthday was in March, hence the name. It soared to No 1 in the States, and despite its familiarity to younger UK audiences, it failed to chart at the time in the UK. It was featured in the hit movie 'Sister Act'. The B Side was another hit of Peggy's from '63 (believe it or not this did make the UK Top 30, peaking at No 29.
