Falsetto-voiced Limmie hailed from Canton, Ohio, and together with family members formed the group in the early 70's. Surprisingly they had more success in the UK than the US, where three singles hit charts in '73/'74. This one, a UK No 6 was a cover version of an earlier hit by the Essex.
