One of the most successful girl groups of the early 60's, this was their chart debut, hitting No 1 in the States and earning them a Gold Disc in '63. It also made No 16. It also has the distinction of being one of the records played on the UK's weekly TV music show 'Juke Box Jury' when the four Beatles appeared at panellists. Needless to say it was received enthusiastically.
