Originally a 1957 DooWop/RnB hit for Jesse Belvin, Ben recorded and released the song in 1965. It made little impact but is interesting in its own right. Its really a full-on DooWop ballad treatment with strings. Backing vocals are unidentified but likely the then Drifters helping Ben out on the session. The UK release had a Goffin-King composition 'Tell Daddy' as the B Side, whereas in the States, it was coupled with 'I Cant Break The News To Myself'.
