This song originally saw the light of day in 1964, when the Kingston Trio featured it on an album, under the title 'Lets Get Together'. It's an anthem for Love and peace and as such was featured heavily by artists of the 60's including Jefferson Airplane, We Five and later even the Carpenters. The DC5 renamed it slightly and in 1970 took it to No 8 in the UK Chart.
