It was'nt until 1970 that German Band The Rattles made it big internationally with their spooky heavy-rock item 'The Witch' but prior to that they had been big in their homeland since forming in 1960. In 1962 they were riding the crest of the Hamburg beat craze and this 45 was released in the UK at the same time that they were Star Club regulars there.
