(Little) Eva Boyd was Gerry Goffin and Carole King's housemaid, when they wrote 'The Locomotion' and they had noted that she could sing whilst doing her chores. This was the third of her UK chart entries, reachuing No 13 in 1963. Interestingly the two songs were released separately in the States both reaching the Billboard Top 50.
