Jimmy Radcliffe originally released this classic in 1965. It actually made a UK Chart Entry on release, peaking at No 40. However, it will be best remembered as one of the '3 before 8' (the final three records played before the end of each Wigan Casino All-Nighter at 8 am) Theres a poignant side to this story, Radcliffe suffered from health problems and actually died just weeks before the first Wigan All-Nighter was held in '73 so he never lived to enjoy the cult status his record achieved.
