A 1958 release, although it was creditted to Buddy as a solo. The Crickets were present, just not as vocalists. Their manager had by this time figured out that having releases out under two names meant two records being promoted and played by DJ's , instead of just one. So if the Crickets didnt have a vocal part, it got creditted to Buddy as a soloist.
