This record is the result of a session held in Nashville, which is reputed to be the first time the Crickets had got together since 1960. Cruise In it was a new composition for the time , but the 'Ollie Vee' version here was a re-recorded version from the '78 session, not the original featuring Buddy Holly from the late 50's.
