A 1971 UK Reissue of Gladys's first Motown release, originally issued in '66. By '71, the UK Northern Club scene was a big factor affecting the decision process of which releases to bring out. Tracks that sold to a small 'mod' market when first released were being given a new lease of life thanks to the burgeoning Northern Soul circuit.
