Three ladies from Spanish Harlem, New York who first began recording for the Colpix Label, unsuccessfully, until they were discovered by Phil Spector. The record had all the hallmarks of the famous Spector 'Wall Of Sound' and climbed to No 2 US Billboard and No 4 UK. Its also of historical interest because of the fact that it was Cher's debut recording as a backing vocalist.
