The Honey Cone were a three-girl group active between 1968 and 1973. Their members were all pretty active outside of the group both before and after the Honey Cone split up. Two of the members , Edna Wright and Carolyn Willis were part of Darlene Love and the Blossoms. Love and Wright were in fact sisters. Amongst Edna Wright's recordings was an album 'Oops Here I Go Again' from 1977 which found some demand years later on London's Two-Step Soul scene. This record reached No 23 US in 1972, recorded for Holland Dozier Holland's 'Hot Wax' label.
