The first single Stevie Wonder produced for another artist. The Spinners had been at Motown for most of the 60's without major chart success despite a succession of great great Motown records which appealed to the cognoscenti but didnt get sufficient airplay. This one however was instant. It reached No 4 US and No 20 UK mid-70. To make it even better, the UK arm of Motown decided to put one of the most sought-after Spinners tracks on the B Side making it a great buy all round.
